SERVICE OVERVIEW

What is service location?  Service location is the use of special equipment to locate services and pipes up to 2-3 meters in depth for the purpose of maintenance or excavation within the area. Locating underground services and pipes is critical to avoiding costly damage and repair during construction or excavation. Such underground services and pipes includes:

  • Water pipes
  • Electrical wiring
  • Network wiring
  • Stormwater or any other utility

Just because underground pipes and cables are out of sight it doesn’t mean they should be out of mind.
