What is NDD? NDD, or non-destructive digging is a method of excavation in which high pressured water softens high quantities of soil, so that it can be extracted by a pipe in a liquid form. The liquid soil is then stored in a tank, that is then disposed of to designated sites. NDD is a compact procedure as it only requires a single truck, meaning that excavations may be conducted almost anywhere without having to close down any roads or cause obstructions.

What is it used for? HDD involves the use of a drilling machine. The machine uses a rotating bore head to make its way from the surface to any depth no matter the conditions.When the machine reaches the required depth it will be accurately tracked from the surface by sonar technology to ensure that the bore head is in the correct location.
